Dulux Acratex® Cold Weather Additive accelerates the drying time of AcraTex AcraShield, Elastomeric and Acrylic Textures.

At a glance
- For use when air and substrate temperatures are between 3 and 10 °C.
- Surface must be dry (free of moisture and frost)
- Do not use the additive when the temperature is above 10 °C.
- A light breeze or air movement will help the drying of the coating.
- This additive is not designed to improve early water resistance. Do not paint when rain is likely.
Areas to use
Previously Painted Surfaces
• For use when air and substrate temperatures are between 3 and 10 °C.
• Surface must be dry (free of moisture and frost).
• Do not use the additive when the temperature is above 10 °C.
• Only use product when humidity is below 80%.
• Do not use the product when the temperature is within 3 °C of the dew point.
Brush, roller
1. Measure 100 mL per 10L pail of AcraTex AcraShield or Elastomeric. Measure 30 mL per 15L pail of AcraTex Acrylic Texture.
2. Add Additive to pail and power mix for 3 minutes until fully incorporated.
3. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 mins before beginning application.
4. Use the product within 24 hours.
Unused paint
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain.
Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.

Empty paint containers
Leave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs.
Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first.
Do not reuse container unless thoroughly decontaminated.
