Duramax Enamel
Step 1. Prepare your surfaces. Mask off the edges with a good quality masking tape, and then mix your paint by giving the spray can a good shake.
Step 2. Hold the can upright, about 10 – 25cm away from the surface, and start moving your hand before pressing the nozzle to help avoid the paint will running and sagging.
Step 3. Spray in smooth even strokes, parallel to the surface, in an even side-to-side motion. Release the nozzle at the end of each stroke so you don’t get a build-up of paint on the ends. Overlap your previous stroke by about one third with each new spray.
Step 4. Take your time. Multiple light coats are better than one heavy coat.
Step 5. Let your item rest for about 20 minutes or until touch dry before giving it a second coat.
Step 6. The paint will be completely dry and ready to use within an hour.
Step 7. To clean up, use a cloth soaked with a bit of mineral turps to clean away any excess paint, then tip the can upside down and spray until you’re only spraying gas. That’ll help prevent blockages in the future.
Step 8. All Dulux spray cans once empty are completely recyclable so be sure to throw them in your household recycling bin.
Chalky Finish
Available in a range of eight on trend colours, Dulux Chalky finish gives you a stylish, ultra matt finish. For a distressed finish, apply two different colours of Dulux Duramax Chalky Finish, allow for the coat to dry and sand with P320 sandpaper. Read more about Chalky Finish and how to apply it here.
Step by Step guides
1 can of Dulux Duramax Chalky Finish Classic Duck Egg, lazy susan for easy rotation, safety glasses, damp cloth, drop sheet or newspaper.
Wipe the surface of your object making sure its clean and dry, free from grease, rust or dirt.
Hold can upright 10 to 25cm from the surface. Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. Touch Dry in 10 minutes under normal conditions.
Magnetic Chalkboard

Step by Step guides
1 can of Dulux Duramax Magnetic Chalk Board, 1 roll of good quality painters tape, damp cloth, drop sheet or newspaper.
Wipe down board with a damp cloth to remove any dust or fingerprints.
Dulux Duramax Magnetic Chalkboard should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Some foods may mark the surface so we recommend using bowls when serving.
Bright Finish

Step by Step guides
1 can of Dulux Metal Primer, 1 can of Duramax Bright Finish Copper Rose, lazy susan for easy rotation, safety glasses, damp cloth, drop sheet or newspaper. use only in well ventilated areas
Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface. Use the Lazy Susan by turning slowly as you spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface.
Hold can upright 10 to 25cm from the surface. Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. Spraying with 5-6 light coats, with drying in between, will deliver a beautiful sheen and colour. Touch Dry in 30 minutes under normal conditions.
Diamond finish
Dulux Duramax Diamond Finish can be sprayed over any Dulux Duramax colour to give a brilliant glittery finish. This sparkle effect is perfect for any object requiring a little more glitz! Read more about Diamond Finish and how to apply it here.
Step by Step guides
1 can of Dulux Duramax High Performance Enamel Lickedy Lick Gloss, 1 can of Dulux Duramax Diamond Finish Silver, damp cloth, drop sheet or newspaper, Lazy Susan, sand paper.
Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface. Use the Lazy Susan by turning slowly as you spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface. Apply in one or more light coats, as opposed to one heavy coat.
To achieve the desired glitter density.
Due to the sparkling nature of Dulux Duramax Diamond Finish, make sure your surface is as smooth as possible. Sand with extra fine P400-P600 sandpaper if required.
Marble effect

Marble Effect
You will require the following items to complete the project: 1 can of Dulux Duramax Marble Effect White, 1 Can of Dulux Duramax High Performance Enamel Ito, 1 can Dulux Duramax Clear Coat Semi Gloss, 1 roll of good quality painters tape, damp cloth, drop sheet or newspaper, lazy Susan.
Some lacquered timber finished will need to be primed with one coat of Dulux Duramax Undercoat. If you are unsure, it's best to prime with Dulux Duramax undercoat to eliminate any adhesion issues. Once undercoat is dry, apply 2 coats of Dulux Duramax High Performance Enamel Ito following instructions and dry times on the label.
Every marble finish will be unique so don't think too hard about the pattern you are spraying. Once the tray has dried, remove tape and spray entire tray with Dulux Duramax Clear Coat Semi Gloss.
