About Winterlock® Exterior Paint Additive
Dulux Winterlock® Exterior Paint Additive helps accelerate dry time in cold weather conditions. It is compatible with most existing Dulux premium exterior and prep coats. It is ideal for use with Dulux Premium Exterior – Weathershield®, Weathershield® ColourGuard™, Timbacryl®, Dulux 1Step® Prep Water Based Multi-Surface Undercoat, and Dulux Professional® Total Prep. Not compatible with Aquanamel®, Dulux Roof&Trim®, Dulux Weathershield® +PLUS Winterlock®, Dulux Weathershield® +PLUS Super Hide, and Dulux Professional® FastFinish® Enamels.

Application

- Ideal for working in cooler conditions when air and substrate temperatures as low as 3°C
Precautions and limitations
Do not use the additive when the temperature is above 10 °C.Only use product when humidity is below 80%.Do not use the product when the temperature is within 3 °C of the dew point.A light breeze or air movement will help the drying of the coating.
Surfaces
For use when air and substrate temperatures are between 3 and 10 °C.Surface must be dry (free of moisture and frost).
Brush, roller
Once the optimizer has been added to the paint allow to sit for 15 mins before applying. Paint should be used within 24 hours. Unused paint
Stir leftover additive into small amount of waste paint and allow to dry. Once dry dispose of dried paint in rubbish collection.
