About Roof & Trim™ Semi Gloss
Dulux Roof & Trim™ is a high opacity, self-priming, high performance 100 per cent acrylic paint that is designed to provide maximum durability on roofs and trim. It was specifically formulated for the safe collection of drinking water and is resistant to colour fading, mould, dirt and stains. Dulux Roof & Trim® provides long-lasting protection against New Zealand's harsh weather conditions.

Application
*15 YEAR GUARANTEE Dulux guarantees that Roof & Trim will not PEEL, FLAKE or BLISTER for 15 years on metal roofs, timber and masonry, provided it is applied on properly prepared surfaces as per the label directions. This guarantee does not cover paint failure caused by any breakdown of coatings applied previously or when used on concrete tiles and plastics. If Dulux Roof & Trim does not perform as specified above, Dulux will provide free of charge paint to rectify the affected areas. The warranty above applies for 15 years from the date of purchase. If the product does not perform as specified, we will replace the goods free of charge. To make a claim under the warranty, please contact Dulux using the details shown and provide details of your claim. You must show proof of purchase and bear all expenses incurred in making a claim. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies under any applicable law. Previously Painted Surfaces
For Colorsteel® and pre-painted steel:
• Wash down roof with high-pressure hose and allow to dry.
Unpainted Surfaces
Bare galvanised iron and Zincalume®:
• Wash down roof with high-pressure hose and allow to dry.
• Apply one coat Dulux PRECISION® All Metal Primer.
• For any rusted areas, remove rust with a suitable rust remover.
• Spot prime cleaned areas with Dulux PRECISION® All Metal Primer.
Timber fascias including pre-primed timber:
• Ensure surface is sound for painting.
• Sand all dressed timber.
• Apply one coat of Dulux 1Step® Acrylic Primer, Sealer & Undercoat.
Steel and wrought iron:
• Remove all rust by scraping, sanding or wire brushing and apply two coats of Dulux PRECISION® All Metal Primer.
Brick, masonry, fibro and fibre cement board:
• Fill holes with grouting cement.
• Wash down with water using a stiff brush to remove all loose material. Wash with a bleach solution and/or demossing chemical to remove mould or moss.
• Then hose down. Plastic spouting and downpipes: Sand all surfaces and dust off.
Concrete tiles:
• Refer to Dulux Customer Service on 0800 800 424 or for surface preparation details.
Brush, roller
1. Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward lifting action.
2. Rinse brush or roller in water before starting and use while still slightly damp.
3. Apply three full even coats direct from the container.
4. Under hot or windy conditions or on very absorbent surfaces, up to 100ml Dulux Hot Weather Thinner may be added per litre to assist application.
5. Use a short nap roller.
6. Avoid excessive brushing or rolling back into paint which has been drying some minutes.
Airless/Conventional Spray
Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary, thin with up to 60 ml/litre of water to aid atomisation.
Unused paint
Do not pour leftover paint down the drain.
Unwanted paint should be brushed out on newspaper and allowed to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.

Empty paint containers
Leave empty paint containers open in a well-ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle the container via steel can recycling programs.
Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first.
Do not reuse container unless thoroughly decontaminated.
