About Duramax® Plastic Primer Spray Paint
Dulux Duramax® Plastic Primer is a fast-drying spray paint that delivers a high performance undercoat on most hard plastics. The unique technology increases the adhesion and durability of the topcoat to your projects such as priming plastic furniture, downpipes and toys.

Areas to use
Surfaces
Ideal for priming plastic furniture, most hard plastic cases, downpipes and toys.

Note: Some plastics like polyethylene do not allow for paint adhesion even with primers.
Test the plastic projects in an inconspicuous area first.
Previously Painted Surfaces
• The surface must be clean and dry, free from grease, rust and dirt.
• Protect adjoining surfaces from overspray.

Brush, roller
Before spraying
• Shake can for at least three minutes after first rattle and regularly during use.
• Lower temperatures and high humidity will slow the drying and affect the gloss level.
• Avoid spraying when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C.
Spray application
• Hold can upright 15 to 25cm from the surface.
• To ensure surface compatibility, test spray on an inconspicuous area.
• Spray with smooth, even strokes parallel to the surface.
• Apply with several light mist coats rather than one heavy coat.
After spraying
• Prevent blocking by turning the can upside down and spraying until clear gas emerges.
• Also wipe front of nozzle clean.
• Clean up overspray while it is still wet with mineral turpentine.
Unused paint
Storage
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and and away from oxidising agents and corrosive materials.
• Protect from sunlight.
• Store away from sources of heat and/or ignition.
• Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C.

Spray unwanted paint onto newspaper and allow to dry, and then disposed of via domestic waste collections.
