For my Essential space, I’ve focused on natural materials, finishes and textures that carry a modern, understated and casual sophistication. I have focused on soft green tones and warm neutrals that create a statement without being loud ideal for creating a sense of calm.
The colour palette works perfectly with raw timber, leather and brass allowing the materiality to be the hero. I have balanced clean lines with the exaggerated and simple woven textiles including a rug and upholstery fabric.
Incorporating elements of nature can really finish a space. I selected a juvenile eucalyptus tree, which works against Dulux Bruce Bay or Spanish Olive.
