At Dulux, we are all for a gender-equal future. We celebrate women in the construction industry and their valuable contributions in leadership roles, as team members, as architects, engineers, painters and in trade.
Only 27% of registered architects in New Zealand are women!
Though the graduates from architecture schools have been roughly equal for more than 15 years. We want to play our part to change that. That’s why we proudly partner with Architecture + Women NZ to spotlight women in architecture in New Zealand so that there are more role models for future generations who want to consider joining the profession.
Recently, Dulux supported the publication of the book Making Space: A history of New Zealand women in architecture. Written by leading women architects, the book tells the story of their contribution to the creativity, built environment and community of New Zealand.
